Contrary to popular belief, you can’t sweat out all the “sick germs” and toxins through exercise. Our immune systems may actually be negatively affected by exercising intensely when we are sick. However, depending on your signs and symptoms you may still be able to engage in light to moderate exercise.
When trying to decide whether or not to engage in exercise, many experts refer their patients to the “neck rule.”
